Pricing

All 1,591 artifacts are free to browse, customise and copy — no account needed, and npx hoverlab add takes no credentials. What the paid plans buy is what you are allowed to ship, and the features that come with shipping it.

Simple, honest pricing

Free forever. Pro once. Studio for ten. Team by the seat.

Every rung of the ladder — effects, blocks, pages and templates — is free to browse, customize and copy for personal projects, and none of it moves behind a login. Pro is a single payment that covers commercial work for good, Studio is that same license bought once for ten people, and Team puts it on a per-seat plan with shared brand tokens and seat management on the way.

Enterprise50 seats

More than ten people? Studio’s licence for 50 of them, bought once — one invite code and one update window instead of five of each. Everything Pro grants, for everyone on the team, with priority support.

Seats and the licence. It does not include SSO, SCIM or a private repository — if those are what you need, we do not have them yet and would rather say so here than after you buy.

$999once

≈ ₹95,900 · Yours forever

Every plan includes PWA install and prefers-reduced-motion support, and the CLI and public API are open to everyone — every export format included. Free covers personal and non-commercial projects; shipping anything from the catalog in client work or a paid product needs Pro, Studio, Enterprise or Team. The licence sets out exactly where that line falls. No credit card required for Free.

Lines marked Coming are on the roadmap and not available yet. A Team seat today grants the full Pro feature set for every member, priority support, and the shared brand library; shared collections, workspace theming and seat management ship later this year.

AI credits are included in the licence — 500 with Pro, 2,500 with Studio and 7,500 with Enterprise, granted once and never expiring. They buy three things: a variation or an edit of any effect (1 credit), a recolour of one onto your brand (1), and a whole section composed from a brief in your design tokens (3). Browsing, copying, the CLI and the API stay free and unmetered, and everyone — including free accounts — gets five generations a day without spending any. Run out and you can buy a top-up pack; there is no subscription for them.

Everything here is free to read, copy and modify under the free licence. What the paid plans add is the commercial one — permission to ship the result in work you are paid for, with a dated certificate you can forward. Both are written out in full.

Studio and Enterprise are licenses, not workspaces: they cover ten and fifty people respectively with the full Pro feature set, and never renew. The shared brand library and shared collections belong to Team.

Paid plans are charged in USD. Rupee amounts are indicative, converted at approximately ₹96/$ — your card issuer’s rate on the day sets the final amount.

14-day refund on Pro, no questions asked. Cancel Team any time. Polar handles tax and issues your invoice. Refund policy

How Hoverlab compares

Three ways to get UI into your project. Hoverlab isn't always the right answer — but it usually is.

Feature
Hoverlab
From scratch
npm package
Setup time
Copy-paste vs hours writing/testing vs npm install + bundler config
Bundle size impact
0KB JS, CSS only — vs 0KB vs typically 5–50KB JS per package
Dependency risk
No supply chain — vs none — vs tracked in your lockfile forever
Framework lock-in
Plain HTML/CSS works anywhere — vs same — vs usually React-only
Live customization
Built-in sliders + brand colors — vs hand-edit — vs depends on API
Accessibility built-in
prefers-reduced-motion out of the box — vs your responsibility — vs varies
Whole sections and pages
307 blocks, 126 pages, 32 templates — vs assemble each one yourself — vs component kits, if they fit your design
Ecosystem depth
1,126+ curated effects — vs unlimited if you write them — vs millions of packages
Commercial use
One-time Pro license — vs yours — vs check each license

You can find out what changed after you copied it

Twelve months of updates only means something if you can tell when one has landed. Every artifact carries a content revision, the whole ledger is a public endpoint with no key, and the CLI compares your installed copy against it:

npx hoverlab outdated # what has moved since you installed it
npx hoverlab diff hero-split # the lines that changed

Nothing reaches into your repo and nothing phones home — applying a change is always your call. Why this is the row the comparison table cannot hold.

Comparing against a specific catalog? What the nine paid ones cost and withhold, including the rows where they beat us.

Before you buy

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Pro has a 14-day refund, no questions asked: email us within 14 days of buying and the payment is returned in full, to the card or account you paid from, usually within 5 to 10 business days. Once refunded, the licence ends. Team is a monthly subscription — cancel it and the next charge stops.

Is tax included, and do I get an invoice?

Payments are processed by Polar, who act as merchant of record. They collect and remit VAT or sales tax where it applies and issue the invoice, so you receive a proper receipt for your accounts.

What does the one-time price include?

Pro is paid once and the licence is permanent — everything you have stays yours forever. Catalog updates are included for twelve months; a renewal buys what gets added after that, and skipping it takes nothing away.

Can I use the free version for client work?

The free tier covers personal and non-commercial work: learning, side projects and portfolios. Client projects, paid products and internal tools at a company need a Pro licence. Browsing, copying, the CLI and the public API need no account either way.

Frequently asked

Questions, answered

Everything you might want to know before signing up. Still curious? Try it free — no credit card needed.

Yes, for personal and non-commercial projects. The whole catalog — every effect, every block, every page, every template — is free to browse, customize and copy, with no time limit and no credit card. The CLI and the public API are open to everyone too — including every export format, which is why no plan charges for them. What a paid plan adds is the right to use any of it commercially, and an unlimited synced bundle.

Still deciding? Nothing here is behind the payment.

Open any artifact, read its source, install it and run it. The catalog, the CLI and the public API all work before you have paid anything — so you can be sure the code is worth buying a licence for before you buy one.
